I am very humbled and proud to say that “Every Ornament Has its Place” has been nominated by the Georgia’s Writing Association for the 51st Georgia Author of the Year in the Children’s Book category! The awards will be announced on June 6th.

On Saturday, November 15, 2014 “Every Ornament Has its Place” premiered at my first book show, The Savannah Children’s Book Show 2014 in Savannah, Georgia. The children loved the book and I spoke to a lot of folks who love Christmas ornaments! I had two teachers who came to the show looking for me so they could buy the book for their classes which was very exciting! I am looking forward to attending more book shows in 2015! I’ll keep you updated here on the website!
